Jacob began his CrossFit journey in 2009 and has over six years of coaching experience. Jacob is motivated by the camaraderie, walking into the gym and knowing that no matter the fitness level of the person next to you, you're both going through the same thing. When new people ask if CrossFit gets any easier, his answer, "it doesn't get easier, you just get stronger and faster." Jacob's favorite thing about coaching is seeing the "light bulb" go off in the mind of an athlete – when they nail a lift or movement, hit a PR, or do something they didn't think they ever could or imagine.

Jacob is our resident 5:30 a.m. coach and enjoys walking through the gym door, turning on the lights for the first class and helping athletes begin their day by getting through what could possibly be the most physically and mentally challenging thing they do all day.

Jacob attended Mount Wachusett Community College (Computer Information Systems) and is married to fellow CFC athlete, Taryn (CF L1 cert.). When she's not keeping their household in check, she's at CFC beating him in workouts. They have two beautiful daughters, Emerson and Marleaux.

Born and raised in Venezuela Fitness has always been a big part of my life since I can remember. Started playing soccer at 6 years old and then anything that has to do with sports I was first  in the line. Also, I’m always in the search of new ways of expressing myself and emotions and realized that anything that has to do with arts really excites me!

Back in Venezuela I used to work as a photographer but  in 2015 was when I meet CrossFit and since then it’s my passion!!

Three years ago I came to the US . This country has giving me all the resources I need to pursue my dreams. Learning how to speak English and more about this culture made me really happy. I had the opportunity to do the CrossFit level 1 course and could not be more grateful about it. Personally , crossfit it’s not just about working out, it’s about the community , be better everyday and doing more of what makes you happy!

Adam Dickerson holds a CrossFit Level 1 and Mobility certificate, and is also a USAW Sport Performance Coach. Adam has 7 years of experience coaching a wide variety of individuals ranging from young

athletes to grandparents, and everyone in between. Adam attended the University of Virginia where he graduated with a degree in Classical Archaeology. Andrea started Crossfit in 2011 after she saw the women in the Crossfit

Games crushing pull-ups and rope climbs and knew she needed to learn how to do that.

In addition to her CrossFit Level 1 Certification, she has her

judges’certificate and many years experience coaching high school softball.

Andrea graduated from Roanoke College in Virginia with a degree in

Psychology where she also played collegiate softball for four years.

Her favorite thing about coaching is watching people do things they never

thought they’d be able to do. "I especially love seeing women exceed all

their own expectations when it comes to their strength, or pushing

themselves just a little more as their confidence grows." Outside of the

gym, Andrea loves to spend time with her husband Adam (a fellow CFC coach), friends, and her dog, Sully.
