Crossfit Charlotte – Coming Out Soon
Crossfit Charlotte is owned and operated by Andy Hendel. Former NFL linebacker, football and strength coach at every level for the past twenty years is introducing Crossfit training to the City of Charlotte. Andy, a level 2 certified instructor describes a Crossfit workout as a combination of total body compound exercises with high-intensity cardio, often performed against some degree of time element to increase the motivation and output while decreasing rest. The exercises are cherry picked from the entire realm of physical culture. Gymnastic moves such as pull-ups, ring dips, handstands, push-ups and rope climb are combined with Olympic lifts, powerlifting, plyometrics and Russian kettlebell training. The purpose of Crossfit training is to develop the world’s best general athlete; therefore, if you are a power athlete or endurance athlete improvements in your sport specific abilities is remarkably enhanced. Every workout will develop the ten physical skills outlined by Crossfit: Cardio/respiratory, stamina, flexibility, strength, agility, coordination, balance, accuracy, power and speed. If you keep going the same old workout you get the same old results. Crossfit takes your game to a new level. Everything you need to get started is at www.crossfitcharlotte.com. The only thing you risk is a little soreness.

im so stoked you are doing this in charlotte. I lived in mooresville NC for several years and moved to VA, where I am getting my personal trainer certs. The move was from frusteration of lack of quality gyms in my opinion. After I get my cert, I want to get a crossfit cert. I do intend on coming back to charlotte area and now I am more confident. thanks for bringing something like crossfit to the area.

I started CrossFit Norfolk here in VA. I love the stuff. I was previously in the military and a large group of us used to get together in San Diego before i knew CrossFit San Diego existed.
I see that there are many CrossFit locations in NC, but I am moving to Greensboro in June and do not see one there. With one in Raleigh, Charlotte and Winston-Salem, there certainly needs to be one in Greensboro.
Stayed tuned to the website as I hope to have CrossFit Greensboro up there sooner than later.
