Crossfit Charlotte – Coming Out Soon

 Crossfit Charlotte is owned and operated by Andy Hendel. Former NFL linebacker, football and strength coach at every level for the past twenty years is introducing Crossfit training to the City of Charlotte. Andy, a level 2 certified instructor describes a Crossfit workout as a combination of total body compound exercises with high-intensity cardio, often performed against some degree of time element to increase the motivation and output while decreasing rest. The exercises are cherry picked from the entire realm of physical culture. Gymnastic moves such as pull-ups, ring dips, handstands, push-ups and rope climb are combined with Olympic lifts, powerlifting, plyometrics and Russian kettlebell training. The purpose of Crossfit training is to develop the world’s best general athlete; therefore, if you are a power athlete or endurance athlete improvements in your sport specific abilities is remarkably enhanced. Every workout will develop the ten physical skills outlined by Crossfit: Cardio/respiratory, stamina, flexibility, strength, agility, coordination, balance, accuracy, power and speed.  If you keep going the same old workout you get the same old results.
